I like it when I can capture more than one subject matter in a photo, here the older covered bridge leads the way through the image to the old barn and farm across the creek.
The older covered bridge as everyone knows are built of solid wood, structures from the past that are no longer needed. As too is the older style of barn shown here they no longer fit the farming equipment and style of farming that takes place today. Old wood barns are very quickly becoming a thing of the past also. In 30 plus years of photographing barns I can't believe how many of them that I know of have been removed .
